| About REN Through local action, public programs, newsletters, Action Alerts and this web site REN provides up-to-date information on environmental issues to the general public, teachers, county, city, and village officials and state legislators. REN was formed in 2008 by citizens alarmed by development threatening Rock County's natural resources. REN is working to get residents active in local and county government, to influence the environmental well-being of Rock County. Pressures from development continue to increase, straining resources, diminishing wildlife habitat, and spoiling Rock County's rural environment and quality of life. Citizens should be concerned because adequate safeguards are not yet established in many areas. |
